We have just created a new tool to bring users closer to us. With a few simple clicks, you can download the Round Lake Library – well, our toolbar anyway. This toolbar for your internet browser provides key local links such as the Town of Malta and Village of Round Lake sites, local news, links to library services - including the catalog and our online research databases, booklists, local, national and international news feeds, a comprehensive Google search, and a messaging tool which allows the Library staff to alert patrons to special events, emergency closings, and other information.

The toolbar, which you can download at http://roundlakelibrary.mylibrarytoolbar.com, is customizable – add buttons to your favorite programs, get updates from your favorite media sources, and add a pop-up blocker. It is pop-up free, spyware free, and requires nor gets any personal information. It is compatible with Internet Explorer and Firefox.
