Susan B. Anthony

Linda McKenney will present a historical re-enactment as Susan B. Anthony, taking her audience on Susan’s journey from childhood to her death, providing snippets of her life and roles in temperance, abolition and the women’s suffrage movement.

Susan Brownell Anthony was a pioneer leader of the cause for women’s suffrage, and her energy was tireless in working for what she considered to be the best interests of womankind. In 1878 Susan submitted a proposed amendment to the Congress.  Forty-two years later, in 1920, it became the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Linda McKenney is a personal life coach, writer and motivational speaker, specializing in mindful living and eating. She is honored and grateful to be able to bring Susan B. Anthony to life.
