Getting a Library Card
During the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary library cards will can be issued remotely to provide access to our digital services such as Overdrive. You can apply for a temporary card by filling out the form below and emailing it email@example.com.
Please fill out the Library Card Application. A driver’s license number must be provided.
*Please note that this is a temporary card that will provide access to our digital content only.
*To make this card permanent please stop into the library with your photo ID with current address.
Pick up an application at the library, or print an application and fill it out before you come in. Please provide a valid photo I.D. with current address. The following types of unexpired photo I.D. are acceptable:
- government agency issued identification card
- passports from any country
- any state driver’s license
- any state or city identification card
- Employer badge or identification card
- school identification card
If the photo I.D. does not include your current local address, please provide a separate document (lease agreement, bill, bank statement, etc.) that includes that information.

Library cards expire every 3 years and must be renewed. Lost cards should be reported as soon as possible, as cardholders will be held responsible for any materials checked out on their card. There is no charge to replace a lost library card!
A parent or guardian must show their own ID and sign a registration form for children under 18. The child should be old enough to write his/her name on the card.
